I've been struggling with felt protection for my chair legs for a year. Going to hardware stores, trying to get those things in hard plastic that do the same as the one I just bought. These things never stayed in place, were cracking... I tried the felts with a sticker under... but it would never stay in place. Finally, i found those on Amazon. Felt protection that stays on the leg and really protects my floor. It's very flexible silicone, it's easy to put install and it doesn't move at all. It's transparent so it's almost invisible and it's sturdy. They have different sizes so it can be used on much larger leg chairs. It can also me used on square legs since the silicone is so flexible.I can't say right now how long they will last but even if I have to change them every 3 months, it's worth it since all the other one were not staying in place more than 2-3 weeks.I highly recommend those felt protections.
