I ordered two of these. One for a wood floor and one for a tile floor. It slides over both and requires constant shifting back into place. It's quite thin, but that was expected for the price. One good thing to note is that both get daily use and don't seem worse for the wear. I would just prefer it not slide so much.Somehow I missed the part about 'hardwood floor' when purchasing it. On carpet it indents. Probably due to my wrigh but that's ok, I don't sit at desk that long anywayI do a lot of work at my dining room table and I get up and down frequently. For fear of ruining my floor, I got this mat to put under my chair. The mat is strong and durable and will last for years to come. The mat does does not move around and is soft and sturdy on my feet. Well made for the price, highly recommend.Okay, but too thin, always bubbling up and shifting with movement of my rolling chair.I'm on day 5 and still trying to get the wrinkles and creases out. For whatever reason it was rolled up for shipping in flat folds. So there's 10 ridges of lines that stand up off the floor. I spent a bit with a blow dryer trying to flatten it. To see if the creases would relax a bit. And it helped a little. My son said hes going to bring a heat gun over to try to fix it this weekend. This looks thick and durable enough just wish it would be easier to set up and flatten. Size is perfect. I'm not sure if ordering in the summer when it's hot out made this worse or not. I think it got warm and retained all of the folds it was shipped in. But it's still cheaper than a $80-100 floor mat. So I will tough it out. But if you are looking for quick easy flat setup this isn't the one for you. If price matters and you just want to protect the floor and it doesn't have to be perfect this is worth looking at.Works and feels exactly as you'd expect/hope.It unrolled easily and laced out flat after a few hours. It is thin, but works.Very nice, fits perfect under my rolling stool
