These chair leg protectors are absolutely perfect for wooden chair legs against a wood floor. I measured to make sure it would work for my chairs and they are a nice snug fit and the felt on the bottom is wide and really well adhered to the rubber covers. Such a nice smooth glide. I got clear and I can barely see them on the legs. My dining room chairs are older (mid-1950s) and they have rectangular legs, the front legs wider than the back legs and these still adjusted to fit them nicely. I highly recommend these to save your wood floors from scratches!They hold the chair legs nicely and the chairs are silent on hardwood floors. I didn't think they would be a shiny clear but I am getting used to them. They work so well and I don't really notice them anymore however I always notice the silence and love that.I was not able to install these on my chairs. It takes 2 people. My husband put them on while I held the chairs tight. Once on though they are staying put and I like that they not only protect my floor but also the legs of the chair are protected.These were not easily applied to the thicker legs of our bar stools but once applied they have worked great. The chairs easily slide across the floor. They are just what we were looking for.These go on easily, chairs glide nicely. They are noticable (especially at first) because of the little gap on a tapered leg.It looks great and was easy to install. I was concerned about how it would look in the chairs but after installing it, I like it. It was exactly what I was looking for.For the price, these do exactly what I needed. They weren't too hard to install, and they stay on. They are visible, so some people might find them unattractive, but the ones that just fit on the bottom without the plastic did not stay on my chairs.
