This has been a great lamp, but given the light level of use, I was disappointed that this piece broke recently. Will try to glue it, but it won't stay in place. But did get close to four years out of it. The light itself still works well, so it's worth saving, but just an FYI, and would likely have broken sooner with more people, kids, etc. in the house.
