Super easy to assemble! I was worried it would look very shiny and cheap but I’m impressed with the overall color and it looks just like expensive $1000+ chairs.Got this loveseat for my first ever studio apartment. I was torn between the loveseat + sofa. So glad I went with the loveseat cause the sofa would’ve been too long + an extremely tight fit. Took about 30 minutes to put together, pretty simple. It’s been very comfortable to sit on the last few days + I like the height of it - I’m 5’9 + cushions come to the back of my knees so it’s decent height wise. This loveseat is a perfect fit for small spaces. Pretty comfortable; a little firm as other reviews have stated, but I like it. VERY easy to assemble, took me 25 minutes to un-box and build. The only tool needed is an Allen Key and it is included. Everything I expected; one of my better Amazon purchases.I like it well enough—it's fine.I found assembly pretty easy, especially considering I had little space to put this thing together, and none of the three other [*male*] people in my family help with such tasks unless I ask or someone cajole them into it—and then they usually get grumpy while helping, so I just assemble stuff like this (and the really difficult-to-assembly stuff) myself . It entailed more than just screwing on the legs (which was all that was required for a different loveseat I was considering), but all pieces were included, including an allen wrench for tightening things. I had to use only one tool of my own (briefly)—just a screwdriver. No, actually I used two of my own tools. A metal piece already attached to the inside of the arms—a thing the back of the sofa slides into—was bent considerably, I had to straighten in with pliers or something, but that wasn't a big deal. The dark grey is a good neutral color (that isn't beige or tan—and that doesn't show every speck of pet hair or smudge). I guess it would go well with a lot of "decorating pallettes" or whatnot. And, I like the somewhat angular structure of the sofa and cushions, which give it a more modern vibe. The one issue I have with the appearance is, the grey tweed-like fabric/pattern on the bottom cushion. doesn't, in the front of the sofa, extend down far enough to meet the bottom visible part of the cushion, so you can see this black "under-cushion" fabric along the front, which, you know, really shouldn't be visible. When I have a few moments, I'll try to reposition the (pretty tight-fitting, not really easily adjusted) fabric casing for the bottom cushion to see if I can fix that issue. The bottom cushion is rather firm—I'm hoping it will become softer with use, but I really don't think it's really uncomfortable now. The back cushions are softer, which is good.Overall, we like it, and it seems well enough made to last a reasonably long time.I wasn't able to put them together and had to get a friend to do it for me. They look nice once assembled, except for the back. There's a patch down the back that velcros down but it's not large enough on either chair and won't stay in place. If I had it to do over again, I would buy chairs that don't need assembly since you can get better quality items for this price or less.Perfect size, easy to assemble, great quality, and cozy too. You can’t go wrong…Great sofa! Easy delivery. Easy assemble. Looks awesome. Very happy.Couch was delivered with damaged box, but all components seemed in good order. I noted all the negative reviews and took a chance thinking I could fix or improve any issues. With the front support board that seemed problematic with other reviewers, I added another 3/4” support piece under it and also verified the original screws were 1 1/4”. The couch was rather tall for our liking (seat at about 18.5”) and firm cushions. I shaved about an inch off the legs to make it a more comfortable height - we are 5'7" and 5'6". It still feels a bit tall since you don't sink much in the firm cushions. Assembly almost has to be done by two people. Sliding the backrest into it's brackets would have been a bear by yourself and if you don't get them fully seated, you'll have the "spontaneous recliner" that others have noted. Fabric seemed to be okay (charcoal color is great) but we have already lost one tufting in the first few hours. We don't expect this couch to hold up for years and over too many moves. But since I have a full wood shop and all the tools required to tweak and adjust and fix problems, I am more than happy to take a chance. We paid about $350 total (taxes and all) and you should keep that in mind. This is not a $1000 sofa and you shouldn't expect perfection. If have access to the tools and a bit of know-how, this will make a great sofa for a while.I'll update this as we use it more and especially if we have any issues.I purchased two and both are damaged or missing parts! One of them is missing one bracket to attache the back to the arms. And the other is damaged because the wholes where you insert the nail on the base, are enlarged and loose. When I opened the back the nails were all over. Looks like it was assembled and then returned. Don’t waste your money- Package was compact and light enough for me to roll the box up my stairs [picture 1]- Instructions were clear, with two exceptions. The seat is to be held down by a screw on each side but the holes are not there [picture 2]. I think it is fine to leave it like that. In the instructions, the picture shows the back extends down to the seat while the actual back leaves a gap [picture 3].- You should have felt furniture pads for each of the chair legs to not scratch your floor.- The final seat has some factory smell that other people mentioned. Hopefully, that will dissipate after a few days.-The assembled loveseat looks as expected and is firm [picture 4].Not bad for the price, but there is this funny smell which lasted for weeks. Had to get those carpet pet odor eliminator to get rid of the smell. Fits really well at small apartment, would recommend with anyone looking for a love seat. Better than IKEA.A bracket was bent and it needed to be straightened out. Overall good value. It's a pretty couch, but the 2 pieces at the front of the sofa, came undone with the screws rusty, and they don't hold the piece to the sofa. Disappointing as the sofa itself it's not too bad. Also the seller or Amazon charged me twice for the sofa and now I need to wait until January 6 to get my money back.
