Once or twice a year, I ride my motorcycle a couple hours to Cape Cod to go to a secluded beach. Parking is limited to a very few vehicles, and you have to hike over a mile to get there. I've tried a few chairs and blow up options that were OK, but not perfect.This chair fits the bill on multiple counts. Very compact so it fits on the passenger backrest. Light enough to carry with my backpack for a few miles. The legs are collapsible which is great for putting it in the sand. The backrest is also tall enough to rest my head on - which is almost impossible to find in this type of chair.I did not encounter any of the issues with quality that I read in other comments. Everything seems sturdy and well made - especially for this price!
